England Squad for Euro 2020: Alexander-Arnold Included

Southgate Names 26-Man Squad for Summer Finals

Gareth Southgate has named his 26-man England squad for Euro 2020, with Trent Alexander-Arnold included. The Liverpool right-back has been in impressive form for his club this season and will be hoping to make a big impact at the tournament.

Harry Maguire has also been included in the squad, despite his recent injury problems. The Manchester United defender is a key player for England and will be hoping to be fit enough to play a part in the tournament.

Other notable inclusions in the squad include Manchester City's Phil Foden and Chelsea's Mason Mount. Both players have been in excellent form for their clubs this season and will be hoping to make their mark on the international stage.

England have been drawn in Group D for Euro 2020, alongside Croatia, Scotland and the Czech Republic. Their first game will be against Croatia on June 13th.

Reaction to the Squad Announcement

The reaction to the squad announcement has been mixed. Some fans are happy with the selection, while others believe that some players have been left out who should have been included.

However, Southgate has defended his decision-making, saying that he has picked the players who he believes will give England the best chance of success at Euro 2020.
